Hank Aaron’s words created the right frame for Bonds’ record

Whatever you want to say about Barry Bonds and his record breaking 756th home run (last night), it’s still an amazing achievement. A cloud, no doubt, hangs over the record, but it still points to the value of hard work executed over a long period of time. Hank Aaron said it best last night:

"I would like to offer my congratulations to Barry Bonds on becoming
baseball’s career home run leader. It is a great accomplishment which
required skill, longevity and determination.

Skill. Longevity. Determination.
